SK functional polymer (SKFP) is glad to announce the successful start of the new FFS packaging line for Orevac® grafted polyolefins. This new equipment will improve the safety of operators. The new bags ensure better protection of the Orevac® resins, mainly used in regulated and sensitive applications. Orevac® grafted polyolefins are mostly used as tie resins in food packaging applications, for instance in combination with EvasinTM EVOH for multilayer oxygen barrier films. These barrier films are key for the long-term conservation of food. They are also used as compatibilizers for plastic blends, coupling agents for HFFR and PP compounds, or additives in automotive sound deadening foams. This new investment shows the commitment of SKGC to grow SK functional polyolefin and ensure the safety of its employees. Congratulations to the SKFP teams involved in this successful project.
