SKFP resins bring many innovative solutions to the design of mono-material packaging facilitating recycling. In addition the combination of new technologies, such as machine direction orientation (MDO), and SKFP high performance tie layers are keys to the down gauging of flexible packaging. Packaging thickness can be reduced without compromising performances.
SK functional polymer has designed a full range of compatibilisers and performance enhancers to upgrade mixed waste streams properties, targeting higher added-value applications. Mechanical properties, and in particularly impact strength, elongation at break and processibility, are significantly improved opening up recycling opportunities in various extrusion and injection moulding applications.
