Pipe Coating: Orevac® adhesive has been developed by fine tuning maleic anhydride repartition on ethylene or propylene chain. Orevac® layer improves significantly the adhesion between epoxy primer and PE or PP top-coat. Adhesion up to 100°C/212°F, peeling with cohesive aspect at all temperatures can be achieve with Orevac® 18342N.

Shrink Sleeves: they ensure the long-term protection of the welding zone between 2 metallic pipes. Moreover, pipe rehabilitation is possible by wrapping a sleeve as a coating. The shrink sleeve consist of :

  • Topcoat : cross-linked polyolefin backing
  • Adhesive layer: heat sensitive adhesive bonding to epoxy, steel and common pipeline coatings including PE, PP or fusion bonded epoxy.

SKFP resins are used in the adhesive layer of the sleeves. Orevac® and Lotader® adhesion promoters resins bring reactivity needed to bond onto epoxy coating and metal. Evatane® and Lotryl® copolymers provide the high fluidity and flexibility required to have an « hot melt » behaviour and the fast application of the protective sleeves.
