Description
LOTRYL® 24MA005 is a random ethylene-methyl acrylate copolymer.
• Due to the methyl acrylate content, LOTRYL® 24MA005 can be used for applications where softness, flexibility and polarity are required.
• Typical applications are co-extrusion, blow molding and compounds.
Processing
LOTRYL® 24MA005 can be processed with standard polyolefin extrusion equipment up to 300°C and it is recommended to purge the equipment after a run is completed.
If LOTRYL® 24MA005 is used pure for instance with blown or cast film technology, standard temperature settings could be:
Zone 1: 150-170°C
Zone 2: 170°C
Zone 3: 170°C
Zone 4: 170°C
Fittings-Channels: 170°C
Die: 170°C
Final profile and settings depend on the line and multilayer structure being run.
Storage, Handling & Safety
LOTRYL® 24MA005 should be stored in a ventilated area, away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and could have consequences
on physical properties of the product.
