SK Functional Polymer introduces its new Lotryl®17BA07T an Ethylene – Butyl Acrylate 17% copolymer with MFI 7g/10min (190°C,2.6kg) designed for Semi conductive and Insulation layer of Medium and High Voltage Cable.
Lotryl® eases the processability of cable compound and brings high toughness. These features will decrease the risk of electrical breakdown thanks to the reduction of protrusion during extrusion. Lotryl® polarity will also play a significant role in the slow down of water tree propagation along the insulation layer.
