New LOTRYL® 40MA05T created by SK functional polymer allows a new range of permeability for high breathable membranes. By dilution into LOTRYL®28MA07 it can provide high breathability, good processibility and cost efficiency by replacing Copolyamide or Copolyester.
Due to this good processability LOTRYL® copolymer resins can be easily laminated between two layers of non-woven PP or coated directly on fabric. Breathable LOTRYL® copolymer resins can be extruded into thin films by extrusion coating or extrusion blown process. LOTRYL® copolymer resins could be blended in all proportions to suit a wide range of applications!
That is why SK Functional Polymer has designed a full range of LOTRYL® resins to meet the Housewrap and Roofing Underlayment market needs. Adjustable moisture vapour transmission rate (MVTR) can be reached by tuning the polymeric composition and/or the coating thickness, as showed in the graph below. For long shelf life and sustainability, excellent liquid and odour barrier, high tear resistance, cost-efficiency, test LOTRYL® EMA resins.
