Description
EVATANE® 28-800 is a random ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer.
The high Vinyl Acetate content of EVATANE® 28-800 brings softness, flexibility and polarity. EVATANE® 28-800 is compatible with most tackifying resins and waxes for hot meltadhesives formulations. EVATANE® 28-800 delivers high cohesive strength with mostfillers and may be used to produce masterbatches. It can also be used as a viscosity modifier for various EVA based compounds such as HFFR formulations for wires andcables.
Processing
EVATANE® 28-800 can be processed on most conventional equipment used for thermoplastics. It is recommended to avoid melt temperatures above 230°C and to purge the equipment after a run is completed.
Storage, Handling & Safety
EVATANE® 28-800 should be stored in standard conditions and protected from UV-light. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and could have consequences on physical properties of the product.

Shelf Life
Three years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. For any use above this limit, please refer to our technical services.
