Description

 EVATANE® 42-60 is a random ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. 

The high Vinyl Acetate content of EVATANE® 42-60 brings softness, flexibility and polarity. 

EVATANE® 42-60 can be readily dissolved into various solvents and be used in inks or solvent-base adhesives formulations. 

Processing

EVATANE® 42-60 can be processed on most conventional equipment used for thermoplastics. It is recommended to avoid melt temperatures above 230°C and to purge the equipment after a run is completed.

Storage, Handling & Safety

EVATANE® 42-60 should be stored in standard conditions and protected from UV-light. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and could have consequences on physical properties of the product.

Shelf Life

Three years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. For any use above this limit, please refer to our technical services.
