Description

LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 is a random ethylene – ethyl acrylate – maleic anhydride terpolymer.
LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 is a versatile adhesive for extrusion coating or lamination, designed as:

• Concentrate to be used in dry blend with LDPE. LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 improves adhesion of LDPE on aluminum foils, metallized or primer-treated films.
• Ready for use resin to be used pure. LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 gives excellent adhesion on substrates likes aluminum foil, metallized plastics, paper, board, PE and its copolymers.
• Coextrusion tie layer for PE/PA in extrusion coating process.

Processing

Heat stability of acrylate comonomers allows processing temperatures as high as for polyamides, which is the main material using LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 as impact modifier. However, to minimize the generation of gels, it is recommended to purge the equipment with LDPE after a run is completed.
LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 is not corrosive.

Storage, Handling & Safety

LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 is usually packed in waterproof bags or rigid containers with waterproof liner. It should be stored in a ventilated area, away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight.
Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and could have consequences on physical properties of the product. It is recommended to reseal the bag or the liner after use to protect LOTADER®/BONDINE® TX8030 against moisture.

Shelf Life

Three years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. For any use above this limit, please refer to our technical services
