Maleic anhydride grafted linear low-density polyethylene tie resin.
Develop a reliable bonding between polyethylene, most ethylene copolymers and materials such as polyamides and EVOH.
Can be used for multilayer films in applications requiring low haze and high transparency.
Processing
OREVAC® 18362 can be processed within different extrusion and coextrusion technologies including blown film, blow moulding and tube coextrusion. OREVAC® 18362 is to be processed like a standard polyethylene resin. Typical extrusion temperature settings could be:
Zone 1 : 160-180°C
Zone 2 : 180-200°C
Zone 3 : 200-220°C
Zone 4 : 210-230°C
Exit : 220-230°C : 220-230°C
Fittings-Channels : 220-230°C
Die : 220-240°C
Final profile and settings will depend on the line and the multi-layer structure being run.
Storage, Handling & Safety
OREVAC® 18362 should be stored in dry conditions protected from UV-light. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and have consequences on physical properties of the product.

Shelf Life
Three years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. For any use above this limit, please refer to our technical services.
