Description

Maleic anhydride grafted linear low-density polyethylene tie resin concentrate for barrier multilayer films. Can also be used as a coupling agent or a recycling agent.

Develop a reliable bonding strength in coextrusion processes between polyethylene or ethylene copolymers and different materials among which polyamides and EVOH.

Containing a high amount of grafted reactive functionalities in order to be used as a concentrate.  Can be used pure or blended with other polyolefins.

Processing

It can be processed within different coextrusion technologies including cast film, blown film, sheet calendaring, blow molding or tube. 
OREVAC® OE825 is to be processed like a standard polyethylene resin. Typical extrusion temperature settings could be:
Zone 1 : 160-180°C
Zone 2 : 180-200°C
Zone 3 : 200-220°C
Zone 4 : 210-230°C
Exit : 220-230°C
Fittings-Channels : 220-230°C
Die : 220-240°C

Final profile and settings will depend on the line and the multi-layer structure being run.

Storage, Handling & Safety

OREVAC® OE825 should be stored in dry conditions protected from UV-light. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and have consequences on physical properties of the product.

Shelf Life

Three years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. For any use above this limit, please refer to our technical services.
