Description
Maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene. Tie resin recommended for blown or cast film coextrusion. Develops a reliable bond between polypropylene, propylene copolymers, polyamides and EVOH.
Processing
OREVAC® 18722 is not corrosive and is readily processed with standard polyolefin equipment.
Conditions typically used in extrusion of polypropylene resins are suitable. Typical extrusion temperature settings could be:
Zone 1 : 210-220°C
Zone 2 : 220-230°C
Zone 3 : 230°C
Zone 4 : 230°C
Fittings-Channels : 240°C
Die : 240°C
Final profile and settings will depend on the line and the multi-layer structure being run.
Storage, Handling & Safety
OREVAC® 18722 should be stored in dry conditions protected from UV-light. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and have consequences on physical properties of the product.

Shelf Life
Three years from the date of delivery, in unopened packaging. For any use above this limit, please refer to our technical services.
