Description

OREVAC® 18729 is a maleic anhydride grafted polypropylene.

• OREVAC® 18729 has been designed to develop a reliable bonding strength between polypropylene or propylene copolymers and many kinds of different materials among
  which polyamides and EVOH.
• OREVAC® 18729 is recommended for sheet calendaring and blow molding coextrusion

Processing

OREVAC® 18729 is not corrosive and is readily processed with standard polyolefin equipment. Conditions typically used in extrusion of polypropylene resins are suitable.Typical extrusion temperature settings could be:

Zone 1 : 210-220°C
Zone 2 : 220-230°C
Zone 3 : 230°C
Zone 4 : 230°C
Fittings-Channels : 240°C
Die : 240°C

Final profile and settings will depend on the line and the multi-layer structure being run.

Storage, Handling & Safety

OREVAC® 18729 should be stored in a ventilated area, away from heat, humidity and direct sunlight. Improper storage conditions may cause degradation and could have consequences on physical properties of the product.

Shelf Life
